On behalf of the Texas Tech baseball program, I 
would like to extend my appreciation to the Tech 
Hecklers for your assistance in creating year-in, 
year-out, one of the nation's best collegiate 
baseball home atmospheres. Everyone from the fans 
to the players to the Texas Tech University 
administration appreciates your support in helping 
build a great environment at Texas Tech baseball games.

The Tech Hecklers have provided so much to many 
different groups. Your continued support has instilled 
in our players a sense of pride to compete for Texas Tech. 
Your enthusiasm has won over many loyal Texas Tech 
baseball fans from casual observers. Your commitment has 
played a major role in the selling of season tickets each 
year. And your self-promotion of college baseball has 
created an outstanding, fun atmosphere and flavor to games 
at Dan Law Field.

We have been notified that the Tech Hecklers have recently 
been appointed as an official Texas Tech University 
student organization. Congratulations. This merger ensures 
the partnership between the Tech Hecklers and Texas Tech 
University. This merger will benefit Texas Tech baseball 
and guarantee outstanding sportsmanship among our fans 
along while providing a first-class, fun atmosphere.

In short, the Tech hecklers uphold the same standards as 
Texas Tech baseball: excellence, integrity, pride, dignity 
and class. We hope to continue to achieve these standards 
during the 2000 season both on the field and in the stands.
